Locked Out of My House and Car? Nightmare!

Being locked out of/separated from/deprived access to my house/apartment/residence is one thing, but being unable to get into/shut out from/barred by both my home and car/dwelling and vehicle/shelter and transportation? Besieged Outside with No Way In

It was/had been/began a perfect day until it suddenly turned sour. I was/had been/am currently enjoying a peaceful afternoon hiking/strolling/exploring in the forest when I realized/discovered/noticed that the path/trail/route behind me/I had taken was gone/missing/vanished. Anxiety/Dread started/set in as I looked around/scanned my surroundings/examined the area but could not/was unable to find/locate/discover any sign of a way out/exit/passage. I was completely stuck/trapped/isolated.

It's now/currently getting darker/late and I am/feel increasingly/more and more worried/scared/concerned about what to do/take. I have my phone/a flashlight/some water but it's unlikely/doubtful/improbable that anyone will be able to/capable of finding me in time.

Perhaps I should/Maybe I could/I wonder if I can signal for help/build a shelter/find a source of food. It's a long shot/an uncertain gamble/a desperate attempt but it's the best/only/remaining option I have.

This occurred to me so often! I swear. Just couple of days ago, I had been just minding my own business. Now here I'm stuck, {completelystranded with my keys {safely lockedwithin my {carautomobile.

Reaching out to a locksmith appears to be the {only option at this point, but it's going to {costa small fortune. I wonder if I should just get in the habit of carrying|begin carrying a spare key with me from now on.
